This policy explains in plain terms what we collect and what we do with it. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and if you have a specific concern about your data you should contact us directly.

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, the country you are travelling from, the species and dates you are interested in, your indicated budget range, how you found us, and anything you write in the message field.
If you subscribe to the newsletter we collect your email address.
If you go on to book a safari we will collect further information necessary to arrange it, including passport details, firearm licence details and serial numbers, and any medical or dietary information you choose to share with us.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited. This is used to keep the site running and to understand roughly how it is used. We do not use advertising trackers or sell this data.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and give you a meaningful quote
- To arrange your safari, including firearm permits, charters and licences
- To send you the newsletter, if you asked for it
- To comply with the legal requirements of the countries we operate in
We will not use your details for anything else without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is necessary to deliver your safari:
- Government authorities in the country you are hunting, for firearm import permits, hunting licences and CITES documentation
- Charter operators and ground handlers, for flight bookings and transfers
- Dip-and-pack facilities, shipping agents and taxidermists, for your trophies
- Our website host and email provider, who process data on our behalf
We do not sell your information to anybody, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to three years, because hunters frequently come back to an idea a year or two later. Booking records are kept for seven years, as required for tax and regulatory purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete your information, or to stop sending you the newsletter. Email us and we will action it. Every newsletter also has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated first.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we limit who has access to it.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged more prominently.
