Starting points rather than fixed menus. Every one of these gets adjusted around what you want to hunt, how long you have, and when you can travel.
We do not publish prices, and it is not because we are hiding something. Trophy fees change annually, government licence fees change, and a fourteen-day elephant hunt and a seven-day plains game safari are not comparable numbers. What we will do is give you a written proposal with the daily rate and every trophy fee itemised separately, so you can see exactly what you are paying for and what charged on every animal taken, and on any animal wounded but not recovered.
One thing we state on every package and every quote: gratuities are not included in any package price, and they are never expected. If you would like to tip the team, our tipping guide sets out sensible amounts.
Suits A first trip to Africa, or a hunter who wants numbers and variety
The safari we recommend to almost everyone making a first trip. Five to seven days on our 20,000-acre Limpopo property with a species list broad enough that you will take four to six animals. The lodge is on the ground itself, so no time is lost transferring, and a non-hunting partner is easy to accommodate.

Because the property has no internal fences, you can work the thick riverine cover for nyala and bushbuck and the more open ground for kudu and eland without moving camp. Ten days gives you time to hunt each properly rather than settling for the first legal bull.

Cape buffalo on the Limpopo property, priced well below the Zambezi Delta hunt. Easy logistics through Johannesburg, no charter flights, and plains game can be added on the same ground. If you want a buffalo and the Mozambique cost is out of reach, this is the honest answer.

Our premium buffalo safari. A 250,000-acre unfenced concession with camp on the banks of the Zambezi, flood-plain grass above head height, and bulls carrying the heaviest bosses in Southern Africa. The season runs June to November, opening once the flood water has drained enough to walk the ground. Usually a few days to find the right dagga boy, though it has come together on day one.

The full trophy hunt on free-range bull elephant, with no restriction on ivory. You hunt for the best bull the area holds, which means passing on animals and accepting that fourteen days may end without one.

The same ground, the same trackers, the same thirty-metre approach through jesse — at a significantly lower cost. You take an old bull of around 30lb a side rather than hunting for the biggest ivory in the area. For a great many hunters this is the difference between doing this once and never doing it at all.

Hunted over bait on the same ground as our elephant hunting, and occasionally in the Hwange area as well. Fourteen to twenty-one days. We start baiting a week before you arrive, so the hunt is already running by day one. Quota is small and allocated annually, so these dates book well ahead.

Five to seven days of plains game on the Limpopo property, then across to Zimbabwe for the elephant leg. The plains game fills out your species list at a much lower cost per animal, and the elephant is the hunt you came for. Regional flights connect Johannesburg and Harare daily and we handle the firearm paperwork for both countries.

Five to seven days of plains game in Limpopo, then the Zambezi Delta for the buffalo. This is the combination that gets the most out of a single trip to Africa — a broad species list at accessible trophy fees, plus the best buffalo hunting in Southern Africa. The Delta runs June to November, so there is room to fit the South African leg either side of it.
Suits A hunter who also fishes
The Zambezi Delta buffalo hunt with deep-sea marlin fishing added on the coast. The fishing is run by trusted friends of ours rather than by us directly, and clients who combine the two typically extend to ten to fourteen days. If you are travelling this far and you fish, it is worth thinking about.
Suits Bow hunters, August to October
Built around blinds over water in the dry months, when heat forces daily drinking and animals come in close. Purpose-built blinds at ranges suited to archery, and a professional hunter who bow hunts himself. Sixty pounds of draw weight minimum, more for the heavier species. Season-dependent, so book for the right months.
